Sri Yatheendra Samrajyam To sridhanvipuravasam@googlegroups Oct 23 at 2:57 PM Why not to celebrate Swamy Munigal Thirunakshathram within Temple Complex? Extension of Beautiful Bridegroom Saint - Puliyodharai Kadhaigal Mail series! Iyppasi Moolam special mail series (Oct 18th to 28th) Swamy Manavala Munigal Thirunakshathram Celebrations! We reiterate, in the name of uncompromising Dharma, it is a well understood fact that, Swamy Munigal uthsavams are entirely non-native and are celebrated just with an intention to ridicule and supress the Sath Sampradhayam celebrating the greatness of Swamy Udayavar and Swamy Desikan. The self-claimed acts of claiming Swamy Munigal to be the Aacharya for Swamy Namperumal Himself is entirely baseless and strange! Sri Rangam Ul Desikan Uthsavams were stopped only for a reason of sheer vengeance of, how could such grand uthsavams shall happen for a Swamy who always spoke and propagated purest Dharma! At most of the Divya Desam Temples Swamy Desikan sannidhis were broken, Vigrahams were thrown out once they were encroached by the non-native self-proclaimed Godmen upon the advent of Colonial Government! Claiming Vaikanasa and Pancharathra Archakas and other praicharakas to worship Swamy Munigal is criminal and against established Traditions. Vaikanasa Archakas worship Swamy Vikanasacharya and they are loyal to Swamy Desikan as Swamy preserved them at Divya Desams during challenging times. If these self-claimed men really wish to have the taste of Swamy Munigal, then they should make a Pulaya/Paraya/Naidu/Pallar as their Aacharyas and should take their Sri Pada Theertham similar to what their claimed Aacharyan Swamy Munigal did! Only then people will believe that they are the real sishyas of Swamy Munigal! At any cause, Swamy Munigal Uthsavams happening inside Divya Desam or other Abhimana Kshetrams are against traditional value system. We don’t say such Uthsavams should not happen, but should happen at chosen places carefully away from the Temple limits! Jeeyars, Aacharyas and Bagavathas should avoid participating in such Uthsavams, as they happen against Swamy Munigal Thiruvullam, for if existed as per Sri YPP Swamy Munigal was a humble saint, who never wished to have any such worship conducts or celebrations! We don’t stop the private groups from worshiping Swamy Munigal at their private residences. But such activities should be avoided in Temples which are common places. As and how the private groups are conducting Uthsavams for Swamy Munigal and Swamy Lokacharya they should also conduct Uthsavams for the para-Aacharya Swamy Thiruvaimozhi Pillai and Swamy Vilancholai Pillai who are great Bagavathas from the Tamil Communities of Naidu and Parayar/Pulayar! Similar to how Sri pada Deertham of Annan and Appan swamys are received by the private groups, The private group Jeeyars, Aacharyas and Devotees should accept Sri Pada Deertham of Bagavathas from Parayar/Pulayar, Naidu and other communities in glorifying their Ooranvazhi!, that will be the real sense of being true to the Ooranvazhi and glorifying their Aacharya Lineage and the true celebration of Iyppasi Moolam, the claimed Thiruavathara star of Swamy Manavala Munigal! Why not publish Thiruvahindrapuram and Kanchipuram Moolam-Uthsavams also? Dear Anudinam Team, We are reiterating that, Uthsavams regarding Swamy Munigal thirunakshathram appearing in Anudinam Webportal is against Traditions and Culture. Technically there are no Sannidhis or Thirumenis for Swamy, as per His wish. Moreover like other Aacharyas He was not a universal Aacharya and worshipped only by private groups, that too for reasons known. At Thirukannamangai, Thiruvahindrapuram, Thiruppulani, Kanchipuram, Melukote there are no relevance or reverence. What Deities are available today are later days prathishtai, after throwing Swamy Desikan Vigraham away from the Temple, once the Temple control changed from Native Aacharyas-Native rulers to Invaders governed Courts-Self-claimed Aacharyas! Uthsavams for Sri Munigal should not be celebrated at any of the Sri Vaishnava Temples based on existing literary proofs and scriptures. So we request you very strongly, to avoid picturing any of such events and stop acknowledging strange beliefs. Swamy Munigal worship is performed to just portray the vengeance filled attitudes and hatred spread ill-feelings of non-traditional self-claimed God men! This is just a way to uphold these non-natives to Aacharya stands and to make an illusion that they are also great with a great Aacharya lineage. If they really want to boast their great lineage, then like their Aacharya they should accept some Pulayar/Parayar/Naidu in their present Aacharya lineage and then they could do so! We also understand that we cannot dictate terms for Anudinam. But certainly we know these are not with the approval or knowledge of Sri Vinodh Swamy, the founder of the webportal. So, please avoid using Dharma portal for Non-Dharmic functions! Please dont try to be pseudo-secular. Please try to understand that, we are not making this request with any odd motives, but only in the name of righteousness! If Anudinam feels that, they could show these posts, they try to show Thiruvahindrapuram and Kanchipuram celebrations also. Where the sannidhi at Thiruvahindrapuram was a bajanai madam converted back 50 years and at Kanchipuram new sannidhi was constructed only last century. We dont want to see Anudinam surpassing the orders of Divya Dampathigal that no other Aacharyan after Swamy Desikan shall decorate Thiruvolakkam! With least self-consciousness Anudinam should understand the difficulties in establishing Swamy Ul Desikan uthsavams. It was stopped as these non-natives could not bear with the grandeur celebrations happening for Swamy Ul Desikan similar to Swamy Namperumal Himself. Also Swamy Desikan is Swamy Malayappan in disguise! With your kind permission we shall circulate this mail to our readers for their kind understanding. Dasoham, Vinoj, STVDC Dharma at stake in Thiruvahindrapuram! – Playing with the cards of Secularism and Untouchability ! - In Temple Affairs! Wow! Our readers should understand the criminal smartness that they naturally have! But, the same cards of Secularism and Untouchability is equally applicable in Sri Rangam Ul Desikan Sannidhi issue also. Now it’s the turn of Dharma to take the lead! If Dharma is disturbed at one place, Thiruvahindrapuram, it will reply them back at all 108 Divya Desams! Now we have to support Dharma more strongly by reviving Swamy Desikan Uthsavams and His participation in Thiruadhyayanothsavams, Thiru Paramapadha Vaasal Thirappu at all Divya Desams and Abhimana Kshethrams! Madras High Court directive in dispute over temple procession Chennai: Intervening in a dispute between two sects of Vaishnavites, Madras High Court has asked the Vadakalai sect not to shut the doors of a famous temple in Cuddalore District during a procession by Thenkalai sect. Justice V Ramasubramanian said doors of Devanatha Swamy Temple at Thiruvendipuram, managed by Vadakalai sect, should not be closed when their Thenkalai counterparts take out the utsav idol of nearby Manavala Mamunigal temple in a procession tomorrow. He also asked police to ensure that the procession passes off peacefully. “One who is a Vaishnava knows the pain of others, does good to others, does not let pride enter his mind, tolerates and praises the entire world, and does not say bad things about any one”, he said, quoting from Nasinh Mehta’s rendition ‘Vaishnava Janato’. The directive was issued by the court while disposing of two petitions—one by Vadakalai sect for closure of the door and another by Swami Govinda Ramanuja Dassar of Intenational Sri Vaishnava Dharma Samrakshana Society, who opposed the closure. The idol of Sri Manavala Mamunigal is taken in a procession on a particular day (Moola Naktchatra day) by the Thenkalai sect who also chants “Divya Prabandhams”, after lighting camphor in front of Devanatha Swamy Temple. The Vadakalai sect used to close the doors of the main entrance to the temple at that time, which was described as an act of ‘untouchability’ against the Tenkalai sect. In the backdrop of the petition filed by Dassar, Hindu Religious & Chartable Endowments Commissioner refused permission to close the temple doors. Justice Ramasubramanian said: “Even as per the Sastras, doors to the entrance of a temple constructed as per the Aagamas cannot be closed, except during fixed hours and except during certain inauspicious times. Therefore, the doors of the main entrance shall not be closed when the procession of the deity of Manavala Mamunigal is taken out.” The Judge asked the processionists not to light camphor when the deity passes infront of Devanatha Swamy temple, but said: “It is neither fair, nor possible to prohibit the precisionists from chanting Divya Prabhandams and stopping for a few minutes in front of the temple, since it happens to be a public road. However, the processionists shall not obstruct the ingress and egress of devotees to the temple.” Courtesy: Anonymous: The question here is not closing doors but the Undharmic activities of Thenkalai sect. There was no sannidhi for Swamy Maamunigal at any of the Divya Desam temples. Few private groups, non-natives to tamilnadu started adopting to Swamy Maamunigal worship. They started keeping a Naaga-phanam over the idol of Swamy, which is very non-native to Tamilnaadu Aacharya worships. They started writing new stories and making new claims and started occupying Temples. Even during Swamy Mamunigal times, few private people approached him to establish a Vigraham for him to be worshipped after his time. Swamy opposed it vehemently and ordered them not to establish any new Vigrahams of Aacharyas following the divine intervention of Sri Periyapiratti that none after Swamy Desikans time is supposed to be worshipped in Archai form Till today many of the Thenkalai dominated temples like Srivilliputtur, Azhwar Thirunagari, Sriperumbudur, Sri Rangam have no other vigrahams for any Aacharyas other than Sriman Nathamunigal, Swamy Ramanujar, Swamy Koorathahwan, Swamy Thirukkachi Nambigal and Swamy Vedantha Desikan. Only these five Aacharyas will decorate Thiruvollakkam following Azhwars. Till today in Sri Rangam the seat of Sri Vaishnavam, though dominated by Thenkalai presence has no procession or special vahana sevai for Swamy Maamunigal. Swamy Munigal sannidhi is a private sannidhi situated atleast 2-3 streets away from the Temple complex. But in Thiruvahindrapuram, with an intention of disturb the Vadakali people and hurt their sentiments, before 5 decades a Bajanai-Madam was consecrated to become Swamy Munigal sannidhi. They established a very big idol for Swamy Munigal, which is traditionally wrong. They started making Vahana Sevai and other worships which are very new and not of the actual practice to Sri Vaishnavam. Going many steps ahead, they started decorating the Sanyasi Deity in Naachiyar Thirukolam and Perumal Thirukkolam. In Sri Vaishnavam only Swamy Nammazhwar, Swamy Thirumangai Azhwar and Swamy Desikan have the Naachiyar Thirukkolam as they have sung Lord in Naayaga-Naayagi bhaavam. Even including Swamy Udayavar there is no Naachiyar Thirukkolam and decorating a Sanyasi deity with Saree and Naachiyar Bhaavam is a grave mistake in traditional terms. So, right from the establishment of Swamy Munigal Vigraham, starting Uthsavams are all against Dharmasastras and Sri Vaishnava traditions. So the Temple Kainkaryaparals of Thiruvahindrapuram temple, with a view to safeguard the sanctity of the Temple used to close it during the procession, which is clearly nondharmic! But the Thenkalais started using all the colonial relational terms and are eating up the very little traditions that are existing in Sri Vaishnava temples till date. The Kalai fights are just Brahminical-Ego clashes and painting them with secular terms is very dangerous. Honorable Courts which are totally ignorant on any of the traditional terms are continuously intervening and disturbing the traditions of the Temple. Will they show the same bravery to deal with any adharmic-abrahamic religious affairs ? I was shocked to see the next blow to the prevalence of Dharma in Kaliyuga at this land of Azhwars and Aacharyas! ……..this is the dharmic etiquette followed by our society since immemorial times.. Criticism on vadakali people closing doors has a tone of ridicule.. I strongly oppose such kind of contemptuous attitude.. By supporting judgement, it is implying that judiciary can intervene in any traditions of any sects of hindu society, if they dont conform to universal ideals of liberalism.. the same way he supported the jallikattu judgement to which he neither have any knowledge or experience or right.. We are subjective every native traditions under the scrutiny of unversalism and liberalism of urban elites.. we need to first stop that.. We have to boldly say that judiciary cannot intervene in native tradition, as they have no legitimacy over it.. ……………. The fight b/w srivaishnava sects is their internal issue, and any solution or mediation should happen ONLY based on their own tradition & historical rights and NOT based on any external idealogy like hindutva or liberalism or secularism or humanity or any other stupidity of communists.. We need to give this private or commune space to each of our mathams, and allow them to resolve the issues within themselves. The problem is with the attitude of people like us who fail to understand the reality and bang on the people for following their traditions .. the demands of thenkalai is outragious and unfair.. the vadakalai has every right to follow their tradition of shutting down the doors, and no jurisdiction is there in altering these traditions.. historically, even kings of pre-british native system did not have any rights to alter the tradition, and no kings ever did it.. Secondly, disputes are always the reality of life, and the failure of hindu organisations or vaideeha mutts to establish a dispute resolution mechanism is the root cause of all problems.. Earlier, all disputes will be taken over to kings for resolution.. but hindutva ideology had adopted communist theory of villainising our kings and kshatriyas and completely ignored them.. and even people like us follow the same pattern.. Stop villainising the society.. the society follows their tradition, and it is we who are uprooted and westernised and now want the society to adhere to our present westernised mindset and beliefs.. and invoking untouchability in this is moronic .. untouchability is a dharma and rights of each community to assert their independance and commune space.. they cannot pass such moronic decisions .. As long as we recognise this judiciary we will always be bullied by them.. we should have the daring to say the authorities that they should mind their business only within the administrative aspects and not meddle with societal aspects.. the court has no legitimacy or rights to interfere in the society.. -- Disclaimer : We directly or indirectly does not involve in any money transactions, collections in the name of religion.
