අපේ ලක් මවට ජය වේවා! Dear Sri Lanka! As much as the well deserved and the majority peoples choice H.E. Maithripala Sirisena was sworn in as the Executive President of our Nation, I doubt that I was the only one feeling the sorrow of having heard former President H.E. Mahinda Rajapaksa leaving temple trees to his hometown in Hambanthota. Whatever said and done the name Mahinda Rajapaksa will be in the hearts of our nations people forever and he shall go down in history as a hero with others such as Gen.Sarath Fonseka(yet the General in people’s hearts). Whatever the politics may have been and will be, as much as Gen.Sarath Fonseka is one of the greatest, honored and respected Generals this country has ever produced, H.E. Mahinda Rajapaksa will remain in our hearts as one of the greatest Presidents of Sri Lanka. I trust the newly elected President H.E. Maithripala Sirisena is the much-needed positive change for this country for an improved system and I believe he shall deliver what is expected from H.E. along with the re-appointed Prime Minister Mr.Ranil Wickramasinghe who is an honorable gentleman.
