Earthworm body is long tubular type Measureportion of this body is filled up with this Coelomic fluid. Coelomic fluid isalways secreted from the body of earthworms and always keeps the body of wet.We can collect Coelomic fluid of earthworms and this is called Vermiwash. This Coelomic fluid helps earthworms in respiration. Atmospheric Oxygen while itpasses through this fluid is purified with the help of fluid and finallyabsorbed in the body of the earthworms. Coelomocytes Granulocytes and Lymphocytes cells are present in the Coelomic c c fluid. This helps in healing ofwounds of earthworms and gives imitation power to earthworms. No pathogens cansurvive in this fluid, thereby protecting earthworms from the diseases causeddue to pathogens. Soluble Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potash are the mainnutrients in Vermi wash.
