Recruiting Process of generating a pool of qualified applicants for organizational jobs. Selection The process of choosing individuals with the correct qualifications needed to fill jobs in an organization. Task identity Extent to which the job includes a “whole” identifiable unit of work that is carried out from start to finish and that results in a visible outcome. Training Process whereby people acquire capabilities to perform jobs. Wages Payments calculated directly from the amount of time worked by employees. Union Formal association of workers that promotes the interests of its members through collective action.
