ヤッホー!Are you a student organization looking for ways to help the community? Want to collaborate with an awesome group? Shine City Project is open to everyone! Just send us a message, and we will plan it out! Here are our cleanups for this week! Please note that the location of the Wells Fargo on Friday morning is on Sierra Vista Drive and Maryland Parkway across from The Boulevard Mall. Friday, September 12, 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Wells Fargo Bank (across Boulevard Mall) 3433 S. Maryland Pkwy Las Vegas, NV 89169 Saturday, September 13, 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Jaycee Park 2303 S. Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, NV 89104 Additionally, we will again be at Sam Boyd Stadium on Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. with our Shine City Project advisor, Tara Pike, to help UNLV compete in the national Game Day Recycling Challenge! We will be gathering recyclable (cans, bottles, and others) and compostable materials (food, dirtied paper products, fountain drink cups, and others) from the stands after the football game ends. Saturday, September 13, 6:30 ~ 8:30 p.m. Sam Boyd Stadium (Main Entrance Stairs @ 6:30 p.m.) 7000 East Russell Road Las Vegas, NV 89122 The national Game Day Recycling Challenge competes colleges and universities across America to reduce the amount of waste they produce at football games. Last 2013, Shine City Project helped UNLV win top honors in four out of five categories in the Mountain West Conference division (gamedaychallenge.org/results)! We hope to do just as well this year! This Saturday, please meet up at 6:30 p.m. at the west main entrance stairs at Sam Boyd Stadium. Plan on arriving at least 10 minutes early in case if you get lost or other unexpected delays. Please note that Sam Boyd Stadium is NOT at UNLV. Volunteers do not have to stay for the entire duration of the cleanup. You may wear your Shine City Project shirt if you have one. For all who are planning on joining, please send a message to Jeffrey Silerio by Saturday afternoon so we know who is going! Also let us know if you need to carpool! More info about the national Game Day Recycling Challenge can be found here: (gamedaychallenge.org). More info about recycable, compostable, and waste materials are here: (https://db.tt/tVy2Qvc1). よろしく!^.^
