【徵聘啟事】東海大學外文系誠徵專任教師二位 [ 2014-09-11 ] Applications are invited for the following positions in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan I. Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in TESOL/Applied Linguistics (Spring 2015, 1 February) Applicants should have a PhD in TESOL/Applied Linguistics or related fields. Additional expertise in Testing and Assessment, Advanced Writing, and/or subfields of Linguistics is desirable. II. Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in Interpreting or Translation Studies (Spring 2015, 1 February) Applicants should have a PhD in Interpreting/Translation or related fields. Additional expertise in Conference Interpreting or Consecutive/Simultaneous Interpreting is desirable. Except otherwise specified, teaching load will include composition and other required and elective courses in the Departments BA and MA programmes. All full-time faculty members are obligated to serve on various department, college, and university committees and as class advisers. A commitment to teaching EFL (English as a Foreign Language) students and functioning in a Chinese cultural environment is essential.
