매일성경묵상(每日聖經默想; Daily Meditation on the Bible) 창세기 14;1-12 (2014.9.14) Genesis 14;1-12 [NIV/개역개정] 1 At this time Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Kedorlaomer king of Elam and Tidal king of Goiim 1 당시에 시날 왕 아므라벨과 엘라살 왕 아리옥과 엘람 왕 그돌라오멜과 고임 왕 디달이 2 went to war against Bera king of Sodom, Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar). 2 소돔 왕 베라와 고모라 왕 비르사와 아드마 왕 시납과 스보임 왕 세메벨과 벨라 곧 소알 왕과 싸우니라 3 All these latter kings joined forces in the Valley of Siddim (the Salt Sea). 3 이들이 다 싯딤 골짜기 곧 지금의 염해에 모였더라 4 For twelve years they had been subject to Kedorlaomer, but in the thirteenth year they rebelled. 4 이들이 십이 년 동안 그돌라오멜을 섬기다가 제십삼년에 배반한지라 5 In the fourteenth year, Kedorlaomer and the kings allied with him went out and defeated the Rephaites in Ashteroth Karnaim, the Zuzites in Ham, the Emites in Shaveh Kiriathaim 5 제십사년에 그돌라오멜과 그와 함께 한 왕들이 나와서 아스드롯 가르나임에서 르바 족속을, 함에서 수스 족속을, 사웨 기랴다임에서 엠 족속을 치고 6 and the Horites in the hill country of Seir, as far as El Paran near the desert. 6 호리 족속을 그 산 세일에서 쳐서 광야 근방 엘바란까지 이르렀으며 7 Then they turned back and went to En Mishpat (that is, Kadesh), and they conquered the whole territory of the Amalekites, as well as the Amorites who were living in Hazazon Tamar. 7 그들이 돌이켜 엔미스밧 곧 가데스에 이르러 아말렉 족속의 온 땅과 하사손다말에 사는 아모리 족속을 친지라 8 Then the king of Sodom, the king of Gomorrah, the king of Admah, the king of Zeboiim and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar) marched out and drew up their battle lines in the Valley of Siddim 8 소돔 왕과 고모라 왕과 아드마 왕과 스보임 왕과 벨라 곧 소알 왕이 나와서 싯딤 골짜기에서 그들과 전쟁을 하기 위하여 진을 쳤더니 9 against Kedorlaomer king of Elam, Tidal king of Goiim, Amraphel king of Shinar and Arioch king of Ellasar -- four kings against five. 9 엘람 왕 그돌라오멜과 고임 왕 디달과 시날 왕 아므라벨과 엘라살 왕 아리옥 네 왕이 곧 그 다섯 왕과 맞서니라 10 Now the Valley of Siddim was full of tar pits, and when the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, some of the men fell into them and the rest fled to the hills. 10 싯딤 골짜기에는 역청 구덩이가 많은지라 소돔 왕과 고모라 왕이 달아날 때에 그들이 거기 빠지고 그 나머지는 산으로 도망하매 11 The four kings seized all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their food; then they went away. 11 네 왕이 소돔과 고모라의 모든 재물과 양식을 빼앗아 가고 12 They also carried off Abrams nephew Lot and his possessions, since he was living in Sodom. 12 소돔에 거주하는 아브람의 조카 롯도 사로잡고 그 재물까지 노략하여 갔더라 •배경 [背景;Background] 동방(東方)의 네 왕(王)들(시날 왕, 엘라살 왕, 엘라 왕, 고임 왕)과 남방(南方)의 다섯 왕(王)들(소돔 왕, 고모라 왕, 아드마 왕, 스보임 왕, 소알 왕)간에 전쟁(戰爭)이 벌어졌다. 이 와중(渦中)에 롯과 그 가족(家族)은 전쟁포로(戰爭捕虜)가 되었다. - The kings of west(Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim, Bela) rebelled against the kings of east(Shinar, Ellasar, Elam, and Goiim). During the war Lots family also taken captive. •묵상 [默想; Meditation] 1. They also carried off Abrams nephew Lot and his possessions, since he was living in Sodom.(v12) - 소돔에 있다가 그가 지금까지 모은 재물(財物)을 모두 잃고 전쟁(戰爭)포로(捕虜)가 된 롯; 무엇이 문제(問題)인가? 롯에게는 잘못된 가치관(價値觀)을 가지고 있었다. 즉, 땅의 풍요(豊饒)함, 도시문명(都市文明)의 화려(華麗)함, 편리(便利)함, 안이(安易)함이 그가 추구(追求)하는 바이었다. 반면, 아브람은 가는 곳마다 제단(祭壇)을 쌓으면서 하나님의 언약(言約), 하나님께서 약속(約束)하신 말씀을, 순수(純粹)하게, 마치 어린애 같이 굳게 믿고 바라보았다! 2. but in the thirteenth year they rebelled.(v4) - 세상(世上)은 배반(背反)을 일삼지만 우리는 말에 신실(信實)되게, 진실(眞實)하게 하옵소서! •기도 [祈禱; Prayer] 1) 우리에게 있는 가치관(價値觀)을 새롭게 하여 주옵소서! 2) 아브람처럼 하나님의 약속(約束)만 굳게 믿게 하옵소서! 3) 헛된 영광(榮光)을 추구(追求)하지 않게 하시고 다만 하나님의 영광(榮光)만 추구하게 하옵소서!
