[예레미야 17:7-11] 7. 그러나 무릇 여호와를 의지하며 여호와를 의뢰하는 그 사람은 복을 받을 것이라 [ESV] (Ps. 25:2; 34:8; 125:1; See Ps. 2:12) Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, (Ps. 71:5) whose trust is the Lord. 8. 그는 물 가에 심어진 나무가 그 뿌리를 강변에 뻗치고 더위가 올지라도 두려워하지 아니하며 그 잎이 청청하며 가무는 해에도 걱정이 없고 결실이 그치지 아니함 같으리라 [ESV] (Ps. 1:3; [Ezek. 47:12]) He is like a tree planted by water,that sends out its roots by the stream,and does not fear when heat comes,for its leaves remain green,and is not anxious in the year of drought,for it does not cease to bear fruit. 9. 만물보다 거짓되고 심히 부패한 것은 마음이라 누가 능히 이를 알리요마는 [ESV] The heart is deceitful above all things,and desperately sick;who can understand it? 10. 나 여호와는 심장을 살피며 폐부를 시험하고 각각 그의 행위와 그의 행실대로 보응하나니 [ESV] (1 Sam. 16:7; 1 Chr. 28:9; Ps. 139:23; Rom. 8:27) I the Lord search the heart (See ch. 11:20) and test the mind, (Hebrew kidneys) (ch. 32:19; Job 34:11; Ps. 62:12) to give every man according to his ways,according to the fruit of his deeds. 11. 불의로 치부하는 자는 자고새가 낳지 아니한 알을 품음 같아서 그의 중년에 그것이 떠나겠고 마침내 어리석은 자가 되리라 [ESV] Like the ([1 Sam. 26:20]) partridge that gathers a brood that she did not hatch,so is (Ps. 39:6) he who gets riches but not by justice; ([Ps. 55:23]) in the midst of his days they will leave him, ([Luke 12:20]) and at his end he will be a fool.
