올해에도 어김없이 또 얼마나 많은 유명인들이 생을 마감했는가? 암으로, 교통사고로, 백혈병으로, 총상으로, 심장마비로, 살인으로, 자살로. 올해에도 어김없이 또 수많은 사람들이 이름도 없이 뜻도 없이 사라져 갔는가? 폐렴으로, 익사로, 뇌졸중으로, 영양 결핍으로, 당뇨로, 위암으로, 간암으로, 결핵으로, 또는 에볼라 바이러스 감염으로. 죽음에는 차별이 없다. 유명해도, 무명해도, 부자도, 가난한 자도, 착한 사람이나, 악한 사람이나, 천재나, 바보나, 그 누구도 피해가지 못하는 인생의 덫은 죽음이 아닌가? 그 어느 누가 있어 감히 죽음을 이길 수 있단 말인가? 인생에서 단 한 번 만날 그 날이 바로 오늘일지 모르는데 지금 그것을 맞을 준비가 되어 있는가? 무엇으로 그 환난을 대비할 것인가? 그 덫을 부수어 버리는 힘은 오직 예수 그리스도의 복음 외에는 없다. 오직 복음만이 그 덫으로부터 우리를 자유롭게 할 것이니 오늘 이 시간 복음을 믿고 자유를 얻으라. --- How many celebrities passed away in this year without exception? How many of them died of cancer, traffic accidents, leukemia, gun shots, heart attacks, murder, or suicide? How many unknown passed away in this year without names or meanings? How many of them died of pneumonia, drowning, strokes, nutrition deficiency, diabetes, stomach cancer, liver cancer, tuberculosis, or ebola infection? Death does not discriminate. It is the trap nobody can avoid, where he or she is famous or unfamous, rich or poor, good or evil, bright or foolish. Who can dare win the death. Today may be the day that you may meet once in your lifetime. Then are you ready to face it? How can be prepare for the trouble? The power which can shatter the trap is the Gospel of Jesus Christ an dit is the only power which can free us from the trap.
