--- TTSP Employee Impression --- Engr. Ryan C. Suba-an, RCE Design Engineer II Accomodation Piping Team Q: What are the most impressive things you ever done? As an individual one of the most impressive things that I have ever done was to achieve some of my goals, with my family being the motivator and my inspiration. When I was a boy it was my dream to become an engineer someday, to follow the footsteps of my father. Little did I know that, that “someday” has turned out to be “today”. For now, working here in TTSP, a prominent company, added to my list of the most impressive things I have ever done in life. Q: Why have you chosen TTSP? I chose TTSP not because I wanted to work in a big corporation. Way back 7 years ago, I was badly in need of a stable job that time to support my residence here in Cebu and to help my family back in Surigao. To make the story short, I was lucky to get the job after taking the exam and interviews which was almost impossible to pass. Honestly, my real passion was to work in a certain design/construction firm in line with my acquired course but as time passed by, I was beginning to realize that TTSP was the best suited for my personality, for my career and abilities in work. Q: What is your most favorite saying? “Never apologize for having high standards, people who really want to be in your life will rise up to meet them”. Q: What is the most important aspect about your job? As one of the senior staff of Accommodation Piping Team the most important aspect of my job, is to ensure all necessary items to be done in a given specified time. In this company they promote high quality drawings to be delivered on each assigned schedules. It’s almost like committing errors and delays are unacceptable. More importantly, it is also my task to disseminate valuable work-related information to all of my colleagues. Q: What can you say about the working environment in TTSP? Presently, I am part of a team for which work environment is beyond compare, “very busy” is not enough to describe it. Fortunately, my team mates were molded to be competitive and resilient individuals. That’s why, we are always able to cope with our work through difficulties and tight schedules. Credits to our mentors and supervisor who never fail at imparting knowledge in the field of shipbuilding design. Godspeed TTSP!
