-Technique Tuesday- I know were all busy trying to figure out when the weekend starts again so I thought Id just quickly share a short lighting video recently uploaded by Joel Grimes. I havent heard much from him in a while but here he goes over one way to use a 7 parabolic. Now I know hardly any of us actually have this modifier but its still useful to see how such a huge light source this close to the model actually works. Remember this is just substituting a huge window so in theory if you brought your model super close to the window and moved a white backdrop right up behind them, you could certainly create a very similar look.
