0 DAYS LEFT for Katy Perry! Objectively, what really sells about the current “Katy Perry is her production; it’s all about huge sceneries, great back up dancers, big cartoony fashion and of course, the uberly amazing marketing efforts before her records (and tours in support) come out... But, besides all those extremely creative elements that surround her on stage, Katy herself, is not capable of singing that well while moving, and even if its well known that she’s working on this task, she can barely dance. All she does is walk all over the stage like an entertainer or jump around acting like what she was actually meant to be, a pop-rock star with many rock and roll influences. Give the girl a guitar, let her just stand in front of the audience, and there you go. That’s the actual Katy Perry; an average skilled singer, but very talented songwriter with a huge passion for fame and music (on her own way), who can only hit a few notes right, but looks like an extremely gorgeous goddess brought to life. If i had to point at one task, writing is what she does best, but her hit singles are not necessarily what i have in mind. I’ve been asked many times how can i say all these bad stuff if i really like her and the answer is always the same. I can tell i DO really like her ‘cause even if i can point at all the flaws she has developed on the efforts by the industry on turning her into a genuine pop star, i still find myself there, on the front row of the arena, waiting for the girl who had not even one hit single when i fell in love with, to come out and take the stage.
