A very steadily compiled round of level par gross gave him the winning score of 40 points and also a return of his three handicap status. Vincent Devenny (7) finished in second place with 38 points, a break tie going in his favour over Michael Feeney (8). Michael had a costly blank at the last but was glad to be back on the podium again. best of the ladies on the day was Mary O Doherty (35) on 32 points.
