1 Corinthians 10:31-33 So whether you eat or drink or whatever - TopicsExpress

1 Corinthians 10:31-33 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God— even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved. When we do everything for the glory of God, it is as if we are loosening the chains of unbelief for those we serve. If we do things for the glory of God, and that is our true motive, then the glory of God will shine through us and transform the hearts of those we serve. Our role is of a conduit that serves as a representation of Jesus Christ, who served us even unto death on a cross. Our lives poured out in worship are evidence that we have been resurrected from death, just like Jesus was resurrected from death. In Galatians 6:14-16 Paul says, “May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to the Israel of God.” Praise The Lord Amen!
