E-MANIFEST IN VIETNAM Re: Customs’ Requirement of Net Weight on E-MANIFEST Dear Esteemed Customers, We, Super Cargo Service Co., Ltd., would like to express our most sincere thanks for your favorable supports to our service so far. We would like to inform you that Viet Nam starts applying E-Manifest system for inbound cargo ships at all Customs offices across the country from the third quarter of this year. According to Customs’ Decree No.1870/QD-TCHQ dated 28 Sept 2011 (customs.gov.vn/Lists/VanBanPhapLuat/ViewDetails.aspx?List=b83d2062-3090-4797-af61-7498eff47f51&ID=6962&Web=c00daeed-988b-468d-b27c-717ca31ae3ff) and 5446/TCHQ-GSQL dated 13 Sept 2013, pls declare both Net weight & Gross weight on SI & show on BL as below: - Gross weight is included cover, excluded tare weight. - Net weight is excluded cover (package/ carton, etc). - In case cover cannot be separated to weight, net weight can be included cover, excluded tare weight. - Both gross weight and net weight must be inputted, not allow to be blank. Also under the customs’ request, the followings must be showed clearly on bill of lading image for clearance in Vietnam: - POD - Actual discharging port in Vietnam - FND - specific Port Name. No general name (such as Ho Chi Minh City Port) is accepted. We hope to receive your kind co-operation to proceed as above in order to handle your good shipments smoothly at destination.
