~ 1 Kings 2:28,29,30 ~ KJV. O just, wonderful Lord God of hosts I praise you. Hallelujah, heed the times, Jesus returns. Whereupon the king (Rehoboam king Solomons son, king Davids son, reigning over Israel) took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem to worship:behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And he set the one in Beth-el (where Jacob had seen God & built unto Him an altar there), and the other put he in Dan. And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan. ~ Amos 3:13,14 ~ Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord God, the God of hosts, That in the day that I shall visit transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Beth-el: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground. God has always warned the world of coming judgements in order that it may not bring them upon itself. He warned Noah of the coming flood (Gen 6:13); Abraham & Lott of the future destruction of Sodom (Gen:18:17; 19:14); Joseph of the seven-year famine (Gen 41:30); Moses of the ten plagues on Egypt (Exodus 7:1); Jonah of the destruction of Nineveh (Jonah1:2, 3:4); Amos of the downfall of Syria, Philistia, Tyre, Edom, Ammon, Moab, Judah & Isreal (Amos 1 & 2). Various prophets were told in detail about the final events in connection with the captivities of the chosen people & in every case the warnings were startingly executed. Jonah announced the captivity of Nineveh but judgement was postponed following repentance. When later generations of Ninevites backslid & reverted to extreme wickedness, the warning of Nahum was carried out completely against them. Christs coming was foretold throughout the Old Testament, from Genisis to Malachi. Equally plain & inevitable of fulfilment are the warnings of Jesus & the prophets concerning the future that each day comes nearer to every nation on earth of the wonderful much anticipated second coming of Christ to rapture the Church. Take heed & be comforted children of God Most High. Endure in rejoicing knowing that paradise on earth is walking in Christ into the eternity of eternities knowing that our challenge is to take pleasure in the simple things in life & loving the Lord Whos judgement we avert (keeping His laws, commands & statutes) yet bring preservation to Gods Word & Kingdom & thus us, His very loved children. He would not be God in JesusName if He did not honour Who He says He is, making Him untrustworthy, irrational...(certainly not Maker of the heavens & earth!....but that He is not, cannot & will not be so we live for He is God Almighty.
