#1 Serena Williams and #2 Li Na. The minorities of womens tennis. Changing the face of a white dominated sport. The difference between these two minorities? Serena is the far greater player, record breaker, game changer and will retire as arguably the greatest female to play the game. Serena will make history but Li Na will make more ENDORSEMENT money. Why??? The whole country of China will support her and create opportunity for her. The racist and class divided U.S.A. will never give Serena the support that an American athlete deserves. Maria Sharapova, a Russian lives in Florida and receives full support from her country as well as America. She is still a Russian citizen and plays for her own country during the Olympics, but shed rather live here. If we as Blacks cant see that this country is race and class driven with political motives then you can never be a part of the solution for equality. Im a huge fan of Richard Williams, the girls father. He raised his girls to stardom, wealth and success with masterful strategy. More to follow...
