1 Trillion Euros to be pumped into the European economy to try and stop it collapsing. Apart from WTF was that trillion Euro doing for the economy just sitting around, or is it to be created out of thin air like most modern money? So, this is enough to give everyone in Europe a few euro each, which they would probably just spend as its not much of a windfall. This in turn would spread the cash throughout the economy, giving it a bit of a boost. Sounds like a good idea, eh? So, the brains in Europe are going to issue bonds and things, which are bought by rich people and corporations, which they then make more money on. We then hope they do good stuff with it, that might have a knock on effect down to us. My way, everyone might get an apple and a packet of crisps, the banks way.... more of the same. Sgood, innit.
