During the sensitivity test her muzzle extends forward and her lips are pulled over her teeth, her ears are back and her tail is tucked. This posture is often indicative of a dog whos feeling afraid. For safety reason we skip the rest of the handling. During the food, toy and rawhide test she did not show interest. Daisy does not approach other dog, turns body to side. Daisy was very fearful during the assessment also she exhibited barrier aggression but she is not aggressive once we removed her from the confines of the kennel; she is merely fearful in the shelter environment. The behavior department feels that Daisy should be adopted by a new hope partner. Look: 4. Dog holds eye contact while remaining motionless with ears forward. Her body is stiff and becomes stiffer as assessment progresses. Sensitivity: 5. Dog freezes Food. No interest. Toy 1. No interest. Rawhide 1. No interest. Dog - dog 2. Dog does not approach the helper dog. Turns body to side in relation to other dog.
