10,000 displaced in Kaduna LG crisis —SEMA The Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) said yesterday that about 10,000 people have been displaced following attacks by gunmen on communities in Sanga Local Government Area. Executive Secretary of the agency, Ishaku Dogo Makama, said yesterday that relief materials have been distributed to displaced persons in seven camps. “During the rapid assessment, it was discovered that five communities were attacked. They include; Akpongs Nangu, Kobin village, Fadan Karshi, Dogon Daji, and Ugwan Haruna and not fewer than 10, 000 people were displaced. Items donated include maize, rice, beans, millet, sugar, wrappers, blanket and mattresses while arraignment are being made to provide more food stuff to assuage their suffering,” Makama added. Receiving the items, Sanga Local Government Chairman, Emmanuel Adamu, commended the state government for the gesture.
