10 Nutritious Super Foods – Food 2 of 10 This is a series of 10 post, please see previous post, I will give you a list of foods that you should begin adding to your diet. Add 1 food from each group every week. Then as you get into the next week continue with the food from the previous week plus add a new another new one from the list. Eventually you may choose to eat some of the foods daily and eat others 3-4 times a week other 2-3 times a month or when in season Part of the process will also include eliminating a food that is not of nutritious value! For example – eat olives and chees and eliminate potato chips. 2. Brassica – Also known as cruciferous veggies, brassica are rich in antioxidants and phytochemicals. In this group are broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and other Cruciferae. They are high in dithiolthiones and isothiocyanates that are thought to defer hormone-related diseases such as breast and prostate cancer.
