10 pm weather update. The Arctic front is moving through the Panhandle, and temperatures there have already fallen in the 20s with wind gusts exceeding 40 mph. The front will arrive in San Antonio around 8 am. So the warmest temps of the day will be low 60s first thing in the morning. After the front goes through it will turn windy, with north winds at about 15-25 mph, and higher gusts. Temps will fall into the 50s and stay there throughout the rest of the day. It will remain breezy for the next two or three days and there will be a lot of cloud cover as well. This will keep temperatures from fluctuating much, with highs only in the 50s through Friday - and maybe not getting out of the 40 on Thursday. Wind & cloud cover will keep it from freezing in town until possibly Friday morning, where cloud cover could clear quickly enough to allow the temp to drop that low. Temps will be near freezing in many locations in the Hill Country for both Wednesday and Thursday mornings. #TXwx #SATwx #AUSx
