100 Instrument Technician for Shutdown Project in Kuwait Experience: 5 to 10 yrs. | Opening(s): 100 The SR Instrument Technician will develop an understanding of the unit instrument /control system as they apply to users and apply knowledge to improve the system, define problems, and make necessary repairs. Duties and Responsibilities Include. instrument system PM, calibration, troubleshooting and repair, (DCS, PLC, transmitters, valves, regulators etc.) Preventive/ Predictive maintenance program equipment inspections and updates. Installation, commissioning, check-out. Start-up of instrument systems. Drawing and procedure updates, (loop sketches, logic, calibration and test records, etc.) Basic unit operation knowledge. Operate man lift, after trained and tested. HS&EA, plant policy, and procedures compliance. (Safety training, work practices) Interface with production staff to keep abreast of their needs and problems. Assist operators in performing equipment repairs, preparing for maintenance and returning equipment to service after maintenance. Execute all jobs assigned by Team Leader. Keeps work area and equipment clean and in ready condition. Use of personal computer and computer graphics. Notes : 1. The period of shutdown is from 15th October to 31st Dec,2014 2. The above basic salary is for normal 8 hours of duty and 6 days per week 3. Overtime payments will be made based on Kuwait Labour Law. 4. We plan to conduct interviews in India in Baroda , Mumbai, Chennai & KOCHI during 3rd Week of August,2014. Exact dates will be intimated to you soon. Qualifications: 03 years Diploma in Instrumentation or it equivalent. Minimum 10 years of working experience in similar field. A complete and through understanding of instrument systems, loop and logic drawings, test equipment, ESD systems, alarm systems and electronics. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skill. Demonstrate a positive safety attitude and willingness to work with in team concept. The ability to learn digital and logic skill. Ability to learn TDC 3000 at maintenance level.
