11/13/14 @2000: So Jen is going to have to stay another night at the hospital. As far as her surgeries go, she is doing well. Everything looks great so no problems there. Her issue is pain control today. She had an apparent allergic reaction to either the pain meds she was on last night, coming off of anesthesia, or simply a combination of both. They switched her to oral pain meds late last night. They work, but only a very short time. I talked to Dr Butler and he agreed she should stay another night to try to get this under control. We do not want her going home and still being in the amount of pain that shes in right now. You that know Jen, know shes tough and doesnt whine about pain. So when I saw the expression on her face today I knew it wasnt working. Hopefully by this time tomorrow I will be updated that she is sitting on the couch beside me!! #FightLikeAGirl #CancerSucks #BeatCancersAss
