11 months, 20 countries, 1 fractured elbow, and the adventure of a lifetime. I’ve danced under the northern lights, kissed the Blarney Stone in Ireland, and sailed the islands of Croatia. I’ve walked along the Berlin Wall, had sunset drinks under the Eiffel Tower, and cycled around the canals of Amsterdam. I’ve gambled away my money in the Monte Carlo Casino, visited my Dutch family Anniek, Karlijn and Marleen Leurs in Holland, and have gone swimming in the Greek Islands. Ive been caving in Slovenia, and participated in La Tomatina – the world’s biggest food fight. I’ve been on a canal ride in Venice, walked along the ancient city walls of Dubrovnik, and have had way too many bottles of €1 wine. I’ve ended up with 3rd degree burns thanks to a hot water bottle, have eaten my weight in Belgian chocolate whilst in Belgium, and have ridden a horse around the Golden Circle. I’ve been paragliding over the Austrian Alps, fractured my elbow whilst partying in Croatia, and have had way too many Sangrias in Spain. I’ve had countless hangovers, and made new friends from all over the world. All in all, it’s safe to say that I’ve had the best year of my life! Thank you to everyone who made this year so magical - Ill never forget the new friendships that Ive made, and the incredible things that Ive been able to do!
