11 years ago today I lost one of the most inspirational and motivational women that helped shape me into the person I am today. There is hardly a day that goes by that I dont think about my Grandma and how she would handle a problem or situation. She was always full of wisdom and told the most interesting stories about life in general. She taught me how to love, the importance of family, and that with God all things are possible. During the hardest times in my life Ive thought what would grandma do, and the answer was always PRAY. Anytime I went to her with an issue or problem her answer was always pray about it and god will answer that prayer. As I sat in church yesterday the message reminded me of so many talks we had and so many things she taught me. I know she looks down on me today and ever day, and that she is smiling watching me and my boys grow. I often wonder what she would think of them, or what advice she would give me about raising them so one day theyll grow up to be good men and good fathers. I still go back and read the letters she sent me in college and often times find words of encouragement or wisdom. I just hope I make her proud in everything I do and know one day we will talk and share stories again. She always ended ever letter or every visit or every phone call the same way and those of you that are close to me have probably at one time or another heard me say these two simple little words, and I tell me boys this all the time. She would always end with I Love You.......BE SWEET!! :)
