1434AH RAMADAN GREETINGS Assallam Alaykum Waramatuallah Wabarakatuh brothers and sisters in Islam! I, Hon. (Pastor) C.O. Ojelabi, FCBA, congratulate and rejoice with Muslims all over the world on the commencement of the 1434AH Ramadan while thanking God for sparing our respective life to witness another divine month of blessings. It is the month which invites you to be the guest of Allah (SWT) and one of those near to Him. Each breath you take glorifies Him; your sleep is worship, your deeds are accepted and your supplications are answered. I ask Allah to give my brethren all over the world a sound body and an enlightened heart so they may be able to fast, recite Al-Qur’an, give alms to the needy and poor, honor the old, show kindness to the young ones, guard your tongues, close your eyes to that which is not permissible for your sight, close your ears to that which is forbidden to hear; show compassion to the orphans and observe your regular five daily prayers. Engage in acts that would stimulate and warrant congenial co-existence among our people and raise your hands in supplication for our dear State, Nation, leaders and our respective family; for these are the best of times that God looks towards his creatures with kindness and grant their requests. While we usher in this beautiful month saying “Mar’haba bika Ya Ramadan”, may Allah (SWT) forgive us our sins and accept our fasting as an act of worship. Ramadan Mubarak.
