15 PRINCIPALS IN 19 YEARS! WHAT AILS THIS SCHOOL? St. Michaels Embobut remains the only beacon of hope for the hills of the gods. It is the only source of the much sought after wisdom for the hills. Yet its history is a unique one. It is the only school in Kenya to have had over 15 Principals in its 19 year history. There is something seriously wrong with the school if this turnover is anything to go by. Somebody should ask serious questions the leadership of the school. We must put into account the management and leadership of Embobut on why the school has remained less attractive to heads. It is sad that even Mr. Kiboi who was to take over refused to come because of the information he got that the school treats its Principals badly. I really sympathise with my friend Kiboi for the difficult decision he had to make. In my heart i know it was the right decision. I appeal to the leadership of Embobut beginning with the area MCA and the B.O.M chair Mr. William Yator to sit down and come up with ways of reversing this trend where Principals continue to shun the school. I appreciate the warmth of the folk of the hills during the lovely two years communion with the people of the holy hill.
