15 Year old Boy arrested for raping a minor Girl in Rajouri: RAJOURI, Nov 18: A 15-year-old boy identified as Mohd Riyasat, son of Mohd Shamsheer, resident of Rajdani, in Manjakote was arrested by police for committing rape on 8-year-old girl near new Bus Stand area in Rajouri on Monday . A police officer said that incident took place when the minor girl belonging to rag-pickers’ family hailing from Panipat in Haryana was roaming in the locality near new Bus Stand. Her family along with some other community members was living in slum area near Salani bridge for the last many years. The girl, was carrying bag on her back and went to a tap point to drink water in the locality. A boy who saw the girl alone, lured her and took along with him to home, telling that he would provide her rag material lying in his house. The innocent girl followed him. On reaching home, the boy bolted the doors and committed rape on the poor girl. When the girl weeping reached her Juggi, the mother saw her bleeding. She along with others took the girl to hospital. SHO Rajouri Yash Pal Jamwal who was passing in his Gypsy from that area noticed something fishy and inquired. The family narrated the story and the police immediately raided the house where boy was residing as domestic helper. There was no one in the house as land lords had gone to the village. The police nabbed the accused and registered a case FIR No. 601/2014 under section 376 RPC against the accused Mohd Riyasat.
