15 injured in road mishap OUR CORRESPONDENT COX’S BAZAR, OCT 19 : At least 15 people were injured in a road accident on Teknaf-Cox’s Bazar highway in front of Nila girls high School under Nila union in Teknaf Upazila of Cox’s Bazar district on Friday afternoon. The injured people were identified as: Sona Mia,42, Ali Hossain,25, Easy Bike driver, Sajjat,30, Mohammad Idris, 25, motorbike rider, Abdul Kayom,33, Kabir Hossain, 45, Safi Ullah,28, Jesmin Akter, 23, Selim Ullah, 18, Md Jabed,11, Taslima Akter, 8, Nurul Hque, 23, Kamal, 30, Wahid, 25, Sajjad Hossain, 35. The injured persons were admitted to several hospitals of Cox’s Bazar. Police and eyewitnesses said an Easy bike full of passengers and a motor bike collided head on Teknaf-Cox’s Bazar highway. Locals recovered the injured persons and sent them to different hospitals. SI Md Shah Alam, OC of Teknaf PS admitted the fact and said on information a team of mobile police went to the spot and two vehicles were seized.
