I salute my fellow vet, 90 years old, WW II Navy Combat Veteran for his heroic service in the Pacific. Thank you sir for your presence and your beautiful prayer closing the ceremony. The aircraft below is a KC-135A and my role as crew chief. (my favorite #313) at KI Sawyer AFB, upper peninsula, Northern Michigan. Severe cold and snow out the wa-zu....I actually loved it! We would go TDY anywhere from here. KI Sawyer AFB is no longer and was formerly SAC Command. Winter 1971.
