1st Samuel Chapter 1 we find a distraught woman named Hannah. She - TopicsExpress

1st Samuel Chapter 1 we find a distraught woman named Hannah. She was barren and unable to have children and in fact it tells us is verse 6 that The Lord shut her womb. Hannah was obviously upset because she was unable to have something that most woman want, children. We find that she went to the House if The Lord and pleaded her heart to God begging that he give her a child. She vowed to God that he give her a son and she would made a vow that she would give her son unto The Lord. She pleaded and wept with God so strong that she lost her voice. God honored her pouring her heart out to him that he have her a son named Samuel. We learn from this that what seems like a shut door that if we are faithful to him and pour our hearts out to him that he will answer our prayers, our unselfish ones. If there is something you desire from God what seems like a shut door is an opportunity to cry out to your father, when was the last time that we desired something Of our father that we cried and pleaded with him so much so that we lost our voice. If you have an unselfish heart and use your desire for the kingdom and give it back to him, he will honor that.
