THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL was a true visual feast of a film. thats one thing that Wes Anderson has been getting right with his more recent films. the difference i see between his earlier work and now is in the reality of the stories. now everything is in a more surreal and fantastical world where something like The Royal Tenenbaums was raw and oddly realistic. i for one wasnt a huge fan of Moonrise Kingdom, when i first saw it, but i absolutely loved how it looked. with that said Grand Budapest was a masterpiece of cinema. it had everything that youve wanted in a Wes Anderson movie. the acting was perfect the clothes were amazing the story was bizarre and hilarious. i highly recommend seeing it asap BAD WORDS is Jason Batemans directorial debut. how could i not see this film? as far as dark comedies go this one had it all. i dont want to divulge any information on the plot or ruin any of the jokes because i do believe that people should see this movie too. it was honestly so hilarious that i wish i could see it again right now. i cant wait for more Jason Bateman directed features.
