20 Years, 1 Month and 19 Days ago, I stepped onto my very first Royal Caribbean International ship. Like most of us who have put in a few years on ships, the intention was to work for 1 year and get the travel bug out of the system. Ive been privileged and have travelled the world many times over and apart from a very minor disagreement with a 34 foot yacht 8 years ago ( the yacht won), Ive stayed safe for all those years...really amazing with over 700 flights and hundreds of thousands of miles travelled. Today I walked off my last Royal Caribbean ship and OMG...what a feeling. Ask me if Im happy....Go on.....I dare you. Ill be taking a mini retirement and spending time in Rome, Phuket, San Francisco and Dublin, before making my new life in Maui Hawaii, to begin the next chapter and adventure in my life. I am truly blessed after 20 years to have friends in all corners of the world and a lifetime of amazing memories. A Surfboard and a Cold one will be waiting for anyone who visits.
