2001 Corolla S, Check Engine Light So far two Bay View mechanics/auto shops fixed the problem---first one replaces spark plugs, says thats why the light is coming on ($70 later). Uh, no.... Second mechanic replaces coil, says that fixed it ($270 later). A week later, light comes back on. Im thinking is it really that hard, with the proper eqpt. to find out why a light is coming on? Five years ago, this happened, and it was the sensor to the tune of $300. Since the second place really didnt fix it--going back there. They will probably say, Oh, the coil was bad anyway, but now its this.... Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
