2013 MEN’S WORLDS – PREJUDGING by Andrew Michalak OFFICIAL LIST of COMPETITORS in pdf Wednesday was the day of Prejudging at the 2013 IFBB World Men’s Bodybuilding Championships. After breakfast at the Kasbah Hotel officials, judges and competitors went by buses to the very modern Congress Palace, where the contest started at 10:00 AM. The weather conditions are very good: sunny, with mild temperatures between 25-30 C. The Championships are run according the traditional schedule: first day – Prejudging in all categories, second day – Finals. Altogether, 173 competitors presented their physiques and their muscularity on stage. In the front row IFBB President Dr. Rafael Santonja with his wife Nieves and Vice-Presidents: representing the host continent Dr. Eng. Adel Fahim, Sheikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Albert Busek and Paul Graham, South American Federation President Juan Paredes and Arnold Classic promoter Bob Lorimer took places. I also noticed 2011 Worlds overall winner Mohammed Touri (Morocco), whose success has had a great influence on bodybuilding development in this Northern African country. The stage covered with black carpet plus black back wall with big Championships’ banner created good conditions for presentation of the body muscularity. Big portrait of the Championships’ Patron, H.H. Mohammed VI King of Morocco, placed at the side. Over 20 photographers ready for shooting with their cameras mounted on racks. Eleven judges from the first panel were asked to take their seats. The Chief Judge Pawel Filleborn called the first category, up to 60 kg, to enter the stage. The noise coming from the audience was slowly coming down and bodybuilders formed the first line-up, directed by the Stage Director Guido Falk.
