2014 Country Action Grant Scheme and Victalent Applications for 2014 Phase 1 Country Action Grant Scheme (CAGS) and Victalent grants are open from today (2 September 2013). Community sport and recreation organisations in rural and regional Victoria may submit a 2014 CAGS application seeking one grant of up to $5,000 to: Help organisations operate more effectively. Fund attendance at relevant training courses. Provide accessible sport and active recreation opportunities Eligible organisations may also apply for up to two $500 Victalent grants to support athletes, coaches, officials and teams who are required to travel extensively in order to engage in training and competition. 2013 CAGS and Victalent guidelines are available from the Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD) website: grants.dtpli.vic.gov.au .
