2014 Course Overview Days DD303, DD307 and DSE212 - Feb presentation Saturday 26th April 2014 10am – 4.30pm University of Westminster, Regent Street, London These intensive days provide an overview of the entire course. Attending these sessions give the advantage of understanding the framework of the course and being mindful of what to concentrate on for the TMAs and exam. They are aimed at students already studying the course irrespective of whether they are ahead or behind in the coursework schedule! DD303: Dr Alan Pechey is an extremely engaging speaker, and has taught Cognitive Psychology for over 10 years. He is an exam marker, tutor at residential school and course tutor, thereby offering valuable insight into how the course is constructed and assessed. DD307: Babak Fozooni works as a tutor at the Open University. With five degrees, he is a critical psychologist specialising in social, developmental and political psychology. He takes a critical stance on Social Psychology, demonstrating this vital skill for the course as he outlines the content. DSE212: Frederick Toates is Professor of Biological Psychology at the Open University, where he has over 30 years experience of teaching and tutoring. He is a DSE212 course writer and the author of Biological Psychology as well as other books. Fred has a wonderful way of explaining the aspects of the course which students find difficult.
