2014 HUNTER AFL MASTERS MINI-CARNIVAL The Hunter AFL Masters mini-carnival for 2014 is to be held on Sunday 6 July 2014, commencing at 10.00 at No 1 Sportsground, Newcastle. Details are as follows: Date: Sunday 6 July 2014 Time: Commencing 10.00 am (duration depends on team nominations) Location: No 1 Sportsground, Cnr Union & Parry Sts, Newcastle Hunter Contact: Mark Hope (Secretary – details above) Carnival Coord (on day): Peter Hesse (club Vice President) 0438 657653 Format: Round Robin. Each game 2 x 20 min halves, with 5 min half time. Draw to be developed and issued when team nominations known. Trainers: Clubs are encouraged to bring their own trainers, however, Hunter will have two trainers/massage therapists available to all teams on the day. Umpires: Hunter is attempting to arrange umpires for the day but clubs are also encouraged to nominate and provide umpires. Awards: Perpetual trophy awarded to most successful team based on games won and for/against %. Medallion for best player from each team. Canteen: Canteen will be set up in the Newcastle City AFC clubrooms at No 1 Sportsground, overlooking the ground. Post-game Presentations: To be held in the Newcastle City AFC clubrooms after completion of games. Post-carnival Meals: For those people travelling after the carnival and wishing to partake, a dinner meal will be provided at $5 per person.
