2014 Iroquois Lacrosse Association Preparations Are Underway Preparations for the 2014 Lacrosse season have begun. In order to remain competitive contenders at all levels of lacrosse, the Iroquois Lacrosse Association works towards maintaining the existing levels that we are presently participating in, while striving to improve and expand our lacrosse competitiveness. This is not done without having to address various obstacles introduced by the governing body of lacrosse the ILA plays within, being the Canadian Lacrosse Association (CLA) and the restructuring they have had to undergo. ILA President, Travis Cook has called an association meeting for Saturday February 1st scheduled for 1pm at the Super 8 hotel in Cornwall. There will be updates provided regarding our future consolidation with the Can-Am Lacrosse Association, report from Team Iroquois Lacrosse, a Jr B update on a prospective league structure for 2014, expanding our Referee program to introduce more officials into our program along with updates and business arising out of 2014 CLA AGM, and more. Please make time to be there as this promises to be very informative. This would also be an ideal opportunity for any teams that are interested in expanding the Three Nations Sr. B Lacrosse League under the ILA for the 2014 season to make your intentions known.
