2014 has ended and the very first days of 2015 have begun. For me 2014 has been a very enlightening year. While it was starting very insecure for me and I was struggling with deciding which way I want to go with my music, I have discovered over time what I really still like about hardstyle how it is today. For me it was a going back to the roots process as I started including more and more melodies again, just like the hardstyle I fell in love with in 2007, but also finding a totally new sound which was expressing the music of today. In 2014 I exchanged my music with a lot of people who have similar visions for music as I do (Geck-o, Dr. Rude, Headhunterz, Audiofreq just to name a few) and keeped on developing that distinguished sound that I want people to recognize as Phrantic in the future. I turned my back to raw hardstyle which I could not see myself produce in a creative way anymore and made a clear cut accompanied by a Facebook statement. (I still have to thank all of you for being so understanding and the support you gave me, it could also have turned out VERY differently!) I also played a lot of very awesome gigs, for example Loudness where I played a very special set stylewise, Defqon.1 in the Blue where I presented my very first live act, performed together with 2 of my friends from Theracords as Theracords LIVE at Dance Valley and ended the year with a lot of new music at Freaqshow. Thanks to everyone who was going crazy at those gigs, I really appreciate it! So much about 2014, but what have we planned for 2015? First of all I have LOTS of new music laying around here. In total there are 5 unreleased solos finished now, 2 bootlegs/edits, the Mind Dimension Remix and also one collab is still in the works. I will have to figure out myself how I will bring all of it to the audience, but I guess you will hear about it soon. Secondly, I will be starting a podcast which will bring to you all the newest in fresh hardstyle, hard EDM and also a bit outside of that with tracks hand-picked by me and of course exclusive new music. Currently were still working on it, but I hope to create something very new and unique with it. Then theres Phrantics Gaming Sessions on twitch planned which should be starting soon, I will inform you on my social medias about it. The idea is to have a Ask Me Anything with some new music and some great (probably mostly oldskool) gameplay to get that special twist to it. ;) The future of course is always very insecure, you never know what happens. With all the work of the last months and the great things upcoming I am certain though that 2015 will be something unique in the world of Phrantic.
