2015:THE PSEUDO-CHANGE The APC is agitating for change come February to the extend change is writing on most of its posters apart from using the word change as its slogan. Personally i need change more than they do, but lets look at the word change itself. CHANGE: may be countable or uncountable noun but its mostly use as a verb .1.To change something means to replace it with something new or different, e.g I paid N100 to have my radio fixed but all they did was change a fuse.2.When u change a bed or sheets, u takeoff the dirty sheets and put on clean ones 3.When u change a baby or change its nappy or diaper, u take off the dirty ones and put on a clean one.u may consider these changes for your digestion a.changeover b.to change hands c.a change of heart d.a change of mind e.to ring the changes f.to change the subject g.to change for the worse, etc Judging by the meaning of change i discovered bottlenecks in the APC agitation for change, though there are few exceptional cases they got it right, because if u tell a foreigner we need change in Nigerian leadership he knows that yes we want to vote for opposition. And the opposition is GMB no doubt,he remained in opposition since 2002 i salute him for that, so i agree with them on GMB as Change because throughout his political career he is agitating for change. My contention is that when u asked for change eg in Nasarawa where Almakura is the governor and he is of the APC then definitely u must vote for Yusuf Agabi of the PDP, in kano Ganduje who is the deputy to kwankwaso and the standard bearer of the APC shouldnt be voted for the change should be the PDP candidate ,in Kwara the PDP candidate is the change so also Lagos ,Borno ,Yobe Ogun etc .There are states also where APC is the change such as in Gombe, Jigawa, Benue, Taraba kogi, etc . Here in Adamawa the present APC is the remnants of PDP who fought tool and nail to bring GEJ in 2011 and now look at u with disdain just because u are in their former party which they left unceremoniously talk less of supporting Jonathan !So here too the change is either Mal Nuhu of the PDP or Amos Yusuf of the PPN but certainly not APC going by their word change. A friend told me Prof u believed in GMB so why not Bindowo?I replied him that any APC faithful who believed that Bindowo is more competent than Mal Nuhu tell him GEJ is more competent than Buhari! In Adamawa today all the three senators are not coming back which gave room to change, in Adamawa central for example we have 3 candidates Aliyu Idi Hong ,Aziz and Binani, so how does voting for Aziz becomes change? He was the defactor governor while his father held sway as the governor, he took major decisions of the administration but just because he is in APC by accident so he becomes the needed change? Do we change people or acronyms? I believe Aziz Nyako is not a change its just having a wine in a bottle of coke that is the kind of change u are asking us.In Adamawa we are ready for change and no criminal or incompetent person will escape us by hiding behind Buhari!! Buhari was contesting since 2003 and remained unchanged ,all this duration u were fighting him but today u want to claim u love him, or better you are born again? OK u will fail again.
