22 Days- Count down to Founders’ Day: Day 9- Our Founders Cubena McClure Cubena McClure graduated from Shortridge High School, the Indianapolis City Normal School and attended Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Founder Cubena McClure was a talented artist. She won the Gregg Scholarship which she planned to use to attend Columbia University, but due to illness she could not accept the scholarship. McClure was talented in art and she helped design the Sorority pin. On August 24, 1924 at a very young age, our beloved founder passed into Omega Rho.
