24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued At: 5:00 p.m., 29 July 2013 Valid Beginning: 5:00 p.m. today until 5:00 p.m. tomorrow Synopsis: At 4:00 p.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 160 km West Northwest of Coron, Palawan (13.0°N, 118.7°E) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting the country. Forecast: MIMAROPA and Western Visayas will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough. Light to moderate winds coming from the southwest to southeast will prevail over the rest of Luzon. The coastal waters along these areas will be with slight to moderate.
