27th March 2014: further to the last post, here is an image showing the progress of a large 6-part composite for the Timelapse Project Phase 2. The idea for the painting was taken from discovering enormous folding doors covering an access bay at the now derelict Lots Road Power Station in Chelsea. The surface on these door panels is now highly degraded caused no doubt by the passing of considerable years facing the elements, wear and tear and, in the past certainly, the noxious fumes drifting down from the belching chimney stacks high above street level...
