28 March 2014 Dear resident and/or business owner, Ballan Road, Wyndham Vale: Overnight road closures The Deer Park – West Werribee Junction project team will soon undertake works towards completion of the Ballan Road / Hobbs Road / Armstrong Road intersection. What we are doing In order to complete asphalting and line marking works we are temporarily closing a section of Ballan Road, between Manor Lakes Boulevard and Kinglake Drive. Access to properties on Hobbs Road and Wollahra Rise will be maintained at all times. From 8pm to 6am on Wednesday 7 April and Thursday 8 April 2014, all traffic will be detoured via Manor Lakes Boulevard and Kinglake Drive (refer to map overleaf). What you can expect A signed detour route, including temporary speed reductions Minor delays due to changed traffic conditions Noise from machinery such as excavators, rollers, reversing beepers and generators Temporary lighting. Where possible, lighting will be directed away from residential properties Road side signs will highlight the changed traffic conditions Traffic management will be in place. We acknowledge that these works may disruptive but thank you for your patience while we work to improve Victoria’s rail network. If the works need to be rescheduled, we will update the Regional Rail Link website (regionalraillink.vic.gov.au) as soon as possible.
