#28daysofacts Acts 2 - They continued Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly ... (Acts 2:41-42a NKJV) The scripture goes on to tell us what these new disciples continued In including - prayer , doctrine , church, communion , home groups , praise , fellowship, etc etc As I read this today I thought to myself what would the church and Christianity look like today if we continued like the earliest followers ? What if when we meet Jesus for the first time , or a renewed relationship , we continued with diligence ? Sadly I have seen many great men and woman give up on pursuing God , give up on dedication to learn and grow , give up on the church , give up on fellowship, give up serving , give up the faith , give up the desire ... Dont give up ! Lets continue together to see God add to his followers daily ! Does not mean we are perfect , but that we are committed to diligently continue in the things of God . #28daysofacts
