31st of August Mesh Da-Camp Kekana and dads in the picture plus friends of Mesh and his organisation promised little Sophie to give her an unforgettable 1st Birthday party in her home Haus Nazareth in Yeoville which is managed by the nuns. Sophie was abondend couple of hours after she was born and since then lives in the childrens home Haus Nazareth.....During the child protection week in May 2014 where Mesh Da-Camp Kekana and other bikers visited the Haus Nazareth we learned about little Sophies life and her circumstances. Spontaneous we all promised to sponsor Sophies 1st bday and together with all 33 children who are also living in Haus Nazareth we celebrated the 1st birthday of Sophie. A huge thank you to all bikers who followed the invitation to come and ride to Sophies 1st bday plus sponsored the birthday cake (was DELICIOUS!!) jumping castle balloons and party bags it was a fun filled day for the kids in Haus Nazareth! One of the highlights was the birthday song which was given to Sophie by letting a BIKE singing/raving the bday song SOLO USING THE THROTTLE! I will never forget the eyes from the kids as they listened to the raving engine singing. ...the most beautiful bday song I ever heard! Another highlight....according to the kids. ....was the opportunity to sit on our scooters - the word scooter got quickly corrected from us bikers ;-) All in all we are sure Sophie and her friends had a fantastic fun filled day with little presents given to her - one came all the way from Botswana! A special thank you to Daryl Sogot and Baron Schmidt-Hetem plus Sabra Schmidt-Hetem who spontaneous donated money towards the Haus Nazareth which was handed over to Mesh!
