37 yrs. ago today I became an Aunt for the first time. My beautiful blue eyed nephew, John David Ellison III was born and my life was never the same. That day was one of the happiest of my life!! I loved just watching him grow, and then watching him play baseball and golf. I was so proud! We were best friends. Many nights he would walk across the street to see us and we would go in my room and listen to his music!! Such fun times!! Through the years David has faced many tough times but he ALWAYS handled them with dignity and strength. David, you are my hero, you really are!! Even though Im your Aunt, I look up to you. I wish I had half the strength that you do. You are my inspiration!! Even when life gets tough all I have to do is see your big beautiful smile and all seems right with the world! You have that kind of impact on me and all those around you. I thank God that He allowed me to be your Aunt. You are one of my most precious gifts!!
