39 minutes to the New Year and Im actually getting ready to go nightie night. Ive finally grown up in a weird way. Ive been working hard this week and Im tired after housework and rehearsal today for Yellowman. Any attempt to Party tonight would be entirely futile. My 59th year has been like most, ups and downs, mistakes, successes, changes, but absolutely unique in terms of the magnitude of the changes. Landmarks, Mom turning 90, Jeremy graduating college, Stephanie turning 30, me going back to school. Pretty amazing stuff. Im grateful for all my family. Thanks to the Michigan theater community. Youve anchored my life and given it shape, direction and substance over the last 20 years. Thanks to my work/business family, they check on me all the time and continue to share their lives with me. Thanks to my virtual family, keeping me connected and engaged with my family members, old friends, new friends, professional and social opportunities. We shall not pass this way again but Im looking forward to the next steps on this journey.
